I'm a board-certified master arborist and professional tree climber based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My goal is to be an advisor to you, and an advocate for your trees.
After graduating from the Horticulture Program at Bidwell Training Center in 2012, I've made it my mission to educate people about the trees on their property, and provide quality care to ensure the trees' longevity. As an ISA Certified Arborist since 2015, and BCMA since 2022, I've continued to learn and grow as a plant expert, to deliver expert advice and exceptional service.
Climbing work is my specialty, and I've been climbing trees professionally since 2014. I'm passionate about progression, and I love attending industry events. In 2019 I gained certification as a SPRAT Rope Access Technician, and the skills I learned there continue to influence my approach to tree work.
Safety is the absolute priority in all the work we do. Becoming a TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professional in 2016 helped me to refine my approach to communicating safety topics. Completing an OSHA 30-Hour General Industry with Arboricultural Emphasis training helped me to understand how best to mitigate common workplace hazards.
Well, my favorite meal is pancakes with bacon. My favorite beverage is water (really). I like resting in the shade more than basking in the sun. And I'm a Leo. And a twin.
